Review: Net Scanner is a network management application that comes with a wide range of tools to manage workstations, host port scan conversion and implementation. The program does not receive any recently updated and, therefore, some functions may not work properly or above. However, it may be useful for those who are still using older versions of Windows. This application has a search function that can use to resolve host names, which means that it is possible to obtain the IP address corresponding to the domain defined by the user, and vice versa. Port scanners can be integrated to test the server or host, define the services provided and find open ports. Administrators can use to monitor their network security. In addition, it is a net scanner can be used to get the name of your computer to your PC or remote workstation. The only thing you need to do is enter the IP address of a local or remote, and the application automatically retrieves the name of the station. Net Scanner comes with a tool that allows you to find whois information or records relating to domain registration, owners and contact details, status, creation and expiration dates, and so on from here. Ping function is also available, and administrators can use it to send a connection request to a particular domain or IP address to determine whether it can be accessed over a network. The program has a simple interface and looks old, that resembled the standard Windows in earlier versions of the Windows operating system. During our tests, the application crashed when trying to use? Whois? and function? ping? device is not working properly. On the other hand, we can get the computer name and local host name resolve. Net Scanner is equipped with a series of devices that require each administrator to manage the network. However, its function is obsolete and sometimes not work at all, so you may want to try a more recent application that can do the same and more.
