Review: Directory Monitor is an advanced application designed to help you keep an eye on a specific folder and receive alerts when specific changes occur. You can also work with a network folder, directory monitor can inform the user about the type of change, whether you are changes, cancellations, changes or new files copied in the track directory. The interface is very simple and intuitive, with a separate layout to show the monitored folders and a separate panel to display the log. In other words, you can see all the changes recorded along with the time, date and route. Directory Monitor offers a number of customization options for each folder, tracked, which allows you to specify the events to be recorded and the tasks that must be performed when the change is visible. You can also play a sound, or even start a program as a separate option also allows you to monitor events subfolders. Menu choices also play an important role as it allows you to select the interval for checking folders, making backup log file to create a separate log file for each directory and automatically delete log entries that are no longer valid. Directory Monitor works like a charm on all versions of Windows and does not require administrator privileges on the Windows 7 machine. Generally, Directory Monitor is one of the best applications of its kind, is an excellent job when it comes to monitoring the activities of folders and to provide a significant number of configuration options to improve the whole process. |
