But you can also configure encoding settings when it comes to the audio and video mode, video code, size, noise reduction, audio gain, black level correction, audio synchronization, clip end time and information (e.g. title, author, copyright, keywords), the temporary storage directory, and more. Settings can be restored to their default values at any time. The program runs on a moderate amount of system resources, includes a step-by-step guide with snapshots for beginners, quickly finishes a conversion job and manages to keep a very good image and sound quality. Unfortunately, several errors occurred during our tests. For example, we were not able to change the destination folder in one case, since Easy Real Converter kept saying there is not enough free space on the hard drive (which was false). Also, the interface is outdated and you have to specify the destination folder before importing files. Otherwise, the tool does not memorize the new address. We recommend Easy Real Converter with reservations.
