Review: CallerIP is a lightweight application designed to help you monitor network activity and track the IP addresses that are connecting to your computer. It sports a clean and intuitive interface that displays information about the connections, namely remote IP address, local port and IP, country, name of the application that has accepted the incoming connection or made the outgoing connection, and time when the connection was established. Furthermore, CallerIP displays a map with the countries where the connections were found, and you can save the map to a file. Other important features worth mentioning enable users to view a history list with all IP addresses, print or save the information to a file, view a list with applications which are accepting incoming communications, as well as perform searches for finding a specific connection by specifying the remote IP address and port, local IP and port. Last but not least, the program is able to alert you when certain types of connections are detected, and it also keeps a log which gives information about the connections. Additionally, you can make the program run at Windows startup, and select what connections should be displayed, namely established, SYN sent and received, and others.
